Revilla Grooves and Gear – Reopening: Monday June 15th!

Revilla Grooves and Gear Will Reopen Monday June 15th!!

Hello Everyone,

It has been a sad, heavy, scary and crazy three months. I hope all of you have been staying safe and making the best of this time. As New Jersey begins to take steps toward our new normal, businesses like ours have been given the go ahead to open up shop. This is great news and we are going to take advantage of the opportunity, very carefully.

Our Opening will begin Monday, June 15th. Our temporary hours will be 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm. We are asking our customers to schedule appointments or at least call ahead if you’d like to shop. We will be limited to fifteen customers in the store at a time. This shouldn’t be a problem for an independent store like ours with a close knit client base and a large open space to dig in.

If you are unable to call ahead and find yourself at our locked front door, simply call or text us and we will let you know if you can enter immediately or if there will be any wait time. Locked does not mean closed, it simply means we will be right with you. The same system applies for checking out gear and selling us collections.

All customers and staff are required to wear masks. If you would like to come in and shop, but do not have a mask, we can provide one for you. There will be no bending of this rule. Revilla Grooves and Gear will provide hand sanitizer at all our listening stations and at other locations through the store. We have installed a clear plexiglass barrier at our counter. It’s just one more step in trying safeguard the health of our staff and clientele.

We will regularly disinfect all surfaces, including the bagged records, throughout the day, with 70% Isopropyl alcohol. You won’t see 6 foot spacers on the floor yet, but if business picks up and we find the precaution necessary, we will apply it then. We do ask that all customers be smart and keep a safe distance from any other customer. Even at six feet of distance that gives everyone six full bins to dig through alone, safely.

We ask this of you: If you feel ill or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, even if it’s allergies, please stay home. We need to keep the store as safe and clean as possible. We also request customers do not bring food or drinks into the store. If we all cooperate and act in the interest of others, we can make this a successful beginning to our long recovery.
