Are my records worth money?

Some may be and some may be not. Call, email, or fill out our form and we can go over your collection with you.

How big does a collection have to be for you to be interested?

No collection is too small or too large. We would like to discuss with you any size collection.

Can you still play old records?

Yes! They sound great. Check our Useful Links section for great vendors of new turntables and audio gear.
What kind of records do I have? 78? LP? 45?
78s are usually 10 inches in diameter and made of very heavy and fragile shellac. LPs, also known as 33s, are usually 12 inches in diameter and are made of vinyl. LPs almost always come in covers. 45s are also made of vinyl, but are usually 7 inches in diameter and usually have a large center whole. There are, of course, exceptions to the descriptions above.

What is an import?

Any record made in a country other than the country in which you live would be considered an import.

What does WLP stand for?

White Label Promo. Any record that was issued to radio stations and record stores prior to its official release and has a white label stating this fact. Not all promos are white labels.

What kind of music are you looking for?

All of it! The more obscure the better. Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Reggae, Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Folk, World (India and the African Continent especially). Contact us about any collection, from any genre, anywhere in the world.
